I am Emma, a 31 year old based in Essex, where I live in a bungalow with my mum and younger brother. I am a full time nurse and work on my blog part time as a hobby. 

After several years of following my favourite bloggers I have decided to take the plunge and start my own blog. EmmaJaynexo was created in August 2020. I like to use my blog to write about all things beauty and lifestyle and it is the perfect escape from everyday life. After 4 years I've decided to start again.

What camera do you use?

All photographs are taken using my Samsung S20 Ultra. I edit my photos on VSCO which is a free app.

What is your skin type?

I have combination skin and I get a congested T-Zone. My skin type tends to change depending on the season.

What is your hair type?

I am naturally ginger haired, I do not dye my hair, I have oily roots and dry ends.

September Goals

I know it is probably a bit random as we are nearly halfway through the month but I feel inspired to write this. Exercise more| I have recently become a member of a local gym and would like to aim at going at least 2 times a week as well as going for a swim. Unfortunately, with lockdown I have put on a lot of weight so now is the time for me to concentrate on getting healthier and fitter. The days I have off of the gym I would like to aim of taking my 2 Bichon Frises for a walk. Eat better| Alongside, exercising more I would like to start eating better, and being more conscious of the food choices I make, I am not going to 'diet' as such, but when I have a sweet craving I will be reaching for an apple over chocolate. This Coconut Flour Banana Bread recipe is: Gluten free Naturally sweetened with honey - completely optional depending on your taste Oil free Super easy to prepare High in protein Super moist and delicious Ingredients: 4 very ripe bananas 87 grams coconut flour 6 large eggs 15mls honey 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon  1 teaspoon baking powder A large pinch of fine sea salt 150g blueberries (optional) Method: Preheat the oven to 180 ºC fan oven and line a loaf tin (9inch by 5inch) with either parchment paper or tin foil. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork, add in the eggs, honey (if using), and vanilla extract. Once combined, add in the  coconut flour, ground cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.  Use a whisk to ensure the batter is mixed well and break up any lumps to make sure you have a smooth batter.
